Mante VALOTKAITE is currently sales & events manager in Lithuania at Relais & Châteaux Stiklai.
Mante Valotkaite, born in Lithuania and passionate about France, fell in love with Vatel. A recent Vatel Bordeaux alumnus, she began her career in Paris, working in a multifunctional position: events coordinator.
“I fell in love with France because of its literature and language. I wanted to do my master’s degree there, in a field where I knew I could get a good job. When I was introduced to Vatel in a student fair, I quickly understood that the hospitality and tourism industries were fields that matched my personality. Moreover, France is well-known for its traditions in hospitality, and is one of the countries where there are the most tourists in the world.”
In just a few words, Mante, who is from Lithuania, resumes the Vatel spirit. “These courses allowed me to comprehend the entire tourist industry as well as all the stakeholders involved in it: customers, employees, managers.” She is now working as an event planner, at Events & Company, a company in Paris that organizes turn-key events and trips. There are a large range of services: organization of weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, stays in France and other countries, shopping tours, etc. “I’m in charge from A to Z, beginning at the coordination of events and trips and making sure they take place seamlessly,” explains Mante. A complex and varied job where she calls upon her sense of serving others and communication.
